Service: MySquad (“we”, “us”) — websites: https://mysquadai.com and https://www.mysquadai.com
This Privacy Policy describes how MySquad collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use
our web application and related services. It is designed to meet common requirements for web applications,
including disclosures relevant to Google OAuth 2.0 sign-in.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly and limited information from third-party sign-in providers.
Account and profile data: username, password hash (if you register with email and password),
optional wallet address you choose to provide, hub names, squad settings, and content you add to your hub.
Google user data (OAuth): If you choose “Sign in with Google” or “Sign up with Google,”
Google shares with us only what you authorize under the OAuth scopes we request:
openid, email, and profile.
That typically includes your Google account subject identifier, email address, display name, and profile picture URL.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, approximate timestamps, and cookies or similar
technologies used to keep you signed in (for example, an HTTP-only session cookie and locally stored session tokens).
Communications: messages you send through in-product features (for example, hub messages),
if and when those features are enabled.
Google user data — transparency. We access Google user data only for authentication
and account management: to verify your identity, create or link your MySquad account, and show your name or avatar
in the product where we display profile information. We do not use Google sign-in to access your Gmail, Google Drive,
Calendar, or other Google services beyond the OAuth scopes shown on Google’s consent screen.
2. How we use your information (including Google user data)
To create and secure your account, restore sessions, and distinguish you from other users.
To provide, operate, and improve MySquad features (hubs, agents, discovery, and related tools).
To communicate with you about service, security, or policy issues when necessary.
To detect abuse, fraud, and technical problems, and to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.
To comply with applicable law.
Google user data — limited use. We use Google user data only to provide or improve
user-facing features that are prominent in our application’s interface (sign-in, account profile,
and personalization tied to your account). We do not use Google user data for surreptitious tracking,
advertising profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing MySquad to you.
3. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on performance of a contract (to provide the service you request),
legitimate interests (security, product improvement, and fraud prevention, balanced against your rights),
and, where required, consent (for example, optional marketing or non-essential cookies, if we offer them
separately). You may withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, without affecting prior lawful processing.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
Service providers (processors): infrastructure and hosting vendors that process data on our
instructions (for example, cloud hosting). They are contractually or legally obligated to protect your data.
Google: When you use Google sign-in, Google processes your credentials on Google’s systems
according to Google’s policies; we receive only the OAuth tokens and user attributes described above.
Legal and safety: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process,
or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MySquad, our users, or others.
No sale of Google user data. We do not sell personal information obtained through
Google’s APIs, including Google user data, to third parties. We do not license or disclose Google user data
for money or other valuable consideration. Any future “sale” as defined under U.S. state laws would be disclosed
and, where required, we would provide opt-out mechanisms — this does not apply to Google user data obtained via OAuth
for as long as it is used solely as described in this policy and Google’s requirements.
5. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards appropriate to the nature of our service, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
between your browser and our servers, access controls, and secure handling of credentials. No method of transmission
or storage is 100% secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password if you use email/password sign-in
and to protect access to your Google account.
6. Data retention
We retain account and hub data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to resolve
disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account subject to
any legal holds or backup retention limits.
7. Your choices and rights
Access and correction: You may access and update certain profile information through in-product settings.
Deletion: You may request account deletion by contacting us at the email below. We will verify your request
and delete or anonymize personal data unless we must retain specific information by law.
Google account: You may disconnect Google-based sign-in by contacting us; depending on implementation,
you may need to add a password or another sign-in method before removing the link.
EEA/UK/California rights: Depending on your location, you may have rights to object, restrict processing,
data portability, or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. California residents may have additional rights
under the CCPA/CPRA (we do not sell personal information as defined above).
8. International transfers
If you access MySquad from outside the country where our servers or processors are located, your information may be
transferred across borders. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for
transfers from the EEA/UK.
9. Children’s privacy
MySquad is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly
collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us
and we will take steps to delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the
“Last updated” date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (for example, a banner or email where appropriate).
